Week 3 brought some movement throughout the rankings as teams begin to separate themselves and the early-season picture becomes a little clearer. Here is the full SYG Blogs Sports Top 25.

1. Notre Dame

Notre Dame stays at No. 1 after another strong start to the season. The Fighting Irish have looked dominant on both sides of the ball and continue to look like one of the most complete teams in the country.

2. Texas

Texas remains at No. 2 and continues to look like a legitimate national championship contender. The Longhorns have taken care of business early and have the talent on both sides of the ball to make a deep playoff run.

3. Georgia

Georgia stays at No. 3 and remains one of the safest teams to have near the top of the rankings. The Bulldogs continue to play physical football and have the depth and talent that make them dangerous once SEC play really gets going.

4. Ole Miss

Ole Miss makes a major move into the Top 5 after an impressive start. The Rebels have shown plenty of offensive firepower and are quickly looking like a team that could challenge the top of the SEC.

5. Indiana

Indiana continues to prove that its high ranking is no fluke. The Hoosiers have played with confidence and consistency, and they deserve to remain firmly in the national conversation.

6. Miami

Miami stays at No. 6 after another solid start. The Hurricanes have the talent to compete with anyone, and the biggest question moving forward will be whether they can maintain that level against tougher competition.

7. Ohio State

Ohio State drops slightly but remains comfortably inside the Top 10. The Buckeyes have too much talent to overlook, and there is still plenty of time for them to climb back toward the top of the rankings.

8. Alabama

Alabama moves into the No. 8 spot and remains one of the biggest names in the SEC picture. The Crimson Tide have the talent and coaching to make a serious run, but the upcoming schedule will provide a much better test.

9. BYU

BYU continues to climb the rankings after a strong start. The Cougars have looked competitive on both sides of the ball and are becoming one of the more interesting teams outside the traditional preseason favorites.

10. LSU

LSU lands at No. 10 in this week's rankings. The Tigers have plenty of talent and remain a team that could make a major jump if they continue stacking wins against quality competition.

11. Texas Tech

Texas Tech continues to make noise and earns the No. 11 spot. The Red Raiders have shown they can score points and compete at a high level, making them a team worth watching as the season progresses.

12. USC

USC remains in the Top 15 after a strong opening stretch. The Trojans have plenty of offensive talent, and their ability to consistently perform against tougher opponents will determine just how high they can climb.

13. Penn State

Penn State stays at No. 13 and remains firmly in the playoff conversation. The Nittany Lions have the physicality and talent to compete with the best teams in the country.

14. Tennessee

Tennessee checks in at No. 14 and continues to look like a dangerous SEC team. The Volunteers have plenty of offensive ability and could quickly move up these rankings with some big wins.

15. Utah

Utah earns the No. 15 spot after another solid start. The Utes continue to play the physical style of football they are known for and could be a difficult matchup for anyone.

16. Louisville

Louisville moves into the Top 20 at No. 16. The Cardinals have shown enough early on to earn their spot and could become a serious factor if they continue to play consistent football.

17. Iowa

Iowa remains at No. 17 and continues to rely on its physical identity. The Hawkeyes may not always put up huge offensive numbers, but their ability to control games and play tough defense keeps them in the rankings.

18. Michigan

Michigan sits at No. 18 and remains a team with plenty of upside. The Wolverines have the talent to climb the rankings, but they will need to show more consistency as the schedule gets tougher.

19. Missouri

Missouri enters the Top 20 at No. 19. The Tigers have been competitive early and have a chance to prove they belong in the national conversation as SEC play approaches.

20. Mississippi State

Mississippi State moves into the Top 20 after a strong start. The Bulldogs have shown plenty of fight and could be one of the more dangerous teams in the SEC if they continue to improve.

21. Oregon

Oregon falls to No. 21 but remains a team that cannot be overlooked. The Ducks have too much talent to count out, and there is plenty of season left for them to make their way back up the rankings.

22. Florida

Florida lands at No. 22 and remains one of the more intriguing teams in the SEC. The Gators have the talent to compete, but consistency will be key if they want to move higher.

23. SMU

SMU checks in at No. 23 and continues to establish itself as a team capable of competing nationally. The Mustangs have an opportunity to make a statement and climb the rankings with strong performances moving forward.

24. Texas A&M

Texas A&M falls to No. 24 but remains in the Top 25. The Aggies have plenty of talent and will have opportunities ahead to prove they deserve a higher spot.

25. Houston

Houston rounds out the Top 25 at No. 25. The Cougars have done enough early in the season to earn a spot, and they will have plenty of opportunities to move up if they continue winning.

Final Thoughts

The rankings are still taking shape, and the next few weeks should give us a much clearer picture of the College Football Playoff race. There are several teams just outside this Top 25 that could make a push, so expect plenty of movement as conference play gets underway.

Who do you think is ranked too high? Who is ranked too low? Let us know.
